  7. »CL0:Yes, summer's gone. We entered autumn,
  8. and with that, we said goodbye to a
  9. summer which, when talking about the
  10. scene, gave us a lot of productions,
  11. mostly released at the traditionally
  12. big summer parties. Perhaps the scene
  13. is dying, perhaps people are moving
  14. towards other platforms, but we have
  15. seen it: The scene will last a long
  16. time yet, in fact for as long as there
  17. are people in it.
  18. And you people are beginning to get
  19. hold of the productions of this
  20. summer, and you want to find out which
  21. the public think is the best.
  22. And that is where WE come in.
  23. Yes, say hello to »CL1:issue #31 of The
  24. Official Eurochart», the original Amiga
  25. Scene Chart.
  26. This issue is slightly delayed, and
  27. looking back, we can conclude that
  28. this is simply because that we (Cytron
  29. & Curt Cool) are used to finishing
  30. the Eurochart at parties together
  31. instead of sitting 300 km.'s from
  32. eachother. Also, we have been rather
  33. busy with other things (studying,
  34. boozing). And another excuse could be
  35. the lack of good modules, clip-art &
  36. of course the intro which Relish were
  37. supposed to make - but a hdcrash
  38. spoiled that. :(
  39. But don't expect anymore delays, the
  40. »CL1:next issue» will still be released at
  41. »CL1:The Party 7.»
  42. »CL0:Another matter: For a moment we
  43. actually thought we were the only
  44. chart left on the scene, but some of
  45. the people behind »CL1:Rage» have promised 
  46. us competition, and the great
  47. Showtime definitely seems to be »CL1:BACK»
  48. with a vengeance, so perhaps that is
  49. not the way it is going to be after
  50. all? 
  51. Anyhow, read on, enjoy, believe that
  52. this is and always will be the
  53. »CL9:original & best Amiga Scene Chart.»

  55. »CL5:         Cytron at the keys.

  57. »CL4:I hate to admit it, but this was
  58. actually our first 'real' delay. As
  59. far as I remember, we promised to
  60. release the »CL5:Official Eurochart#31»
  61. around the 1st of October. The reason
  62. why we waited a little bit, is that we
  63. simply have so many good »CL5:'reasons for
  64. delay'-excuses» to use, as we haven't
  65. been delayed for three issues :-)
  66. »CL9:'So let's hear them'», you all probably
  67. say. OK, OK!:

  69. »CL5:- Cytron's cat had kittens, and they
  70.   had to be taken care of.
  71. »- Curt Cool's girlfriend left him, and
  72.   he went into a crisis.
  73. »CL5:- Princess Diana got killed, and we
  74.   all had to watch her funeral.
  75. »- Bakerman lost his slimness-wig.
  76. »CL5:- Cytron actually started attending
  77.   classes at school (yeah, right).
  78. »- The Summer and the sun sneaked in
  79.   upon us, so we couldn't see our
  80.   monitors (Of course we didn't
  81.   actually go to the beach!)
  82. »CL5:- Curt Cool went to a barbershop and
  83.   was kept hostage as he refused to
  84.   cut his microphone-hair.
  85. »- A giant spider kept Cytron from
  86.   working on his Amiga.
  87. »CL5:- Quedax realized that he had a PC and
  88.   immediately took a long journey to
  89.   India.
  90. »- Cytron lost all his sources and had
  91.   to have a mourning period.
  92. »CL5:- We were a bit lazy and didn't feel
  93.   like making a chart.
  94. »- Sprocket ate one Kinder Milchsnitte
  95.   (ShitMitte) too much and was sent to
  96.   hospital.
  97. »CL5:- Curt Cool's parents sold his
  98.   equipment leaving him with only a
  99.   Squirrel-SCSI-cable (they thought it
  100.   was a creditcard). (OK OK OK .. That
  101.   one wasn't funny).
  102. »- Dunlop found the meaning of life at
  103.   the bottom of a beer and went
  104.   looking for more truths (hasnt found
  105.   any new ones till now, though).
  106. »CL5:- We wanted more than 100 votes, but
  107.   people were really lazy.
  108. »- The Autumn struck us with storms and
  109.   we got depressed.
  110. »CL5:- Noone wanted to send us clip-art
  111.   before we spanked them (except the
  112.   really cool guys! Thanks!)
  113. »- The time just suddenly hit us, and
  114.   we started too late with the making
  115.   of the chart.
  116. »CL5:- Gizmoduck had his period.
  117. »- We used too much of our time to
  118.   figure out excuses for the delay.
  119. »CL5:- etc etc etc.
  120. »CL8:Anyway, sit back and enjoy our show!
